4c. …and it still isn’t enough to stop the GOP from taking both houses of Congress in November.

5. Lula is elected president of Brazil. Macron is re-elected president of France.

6. Kissinger lives another year.

7. A scaled-back reconciliation bill of approx. $1.5T is passed with Joe Manchin’s support.

And Australia’s Zero Covid policy had basically crushed the virus until the Omicron wave…

Another study showing Omicron is less virulent than previous variants and has a smaller chance of causing pneumonia. There are at least 5 high-quality in vivo studies showing this now.

Again - this isn’t a reason to let up precautions. Get boosted, get tested, wear a mask. And that goes double for “get boosted.” Paxlovid’s imminent release is reason enough to delay getting this thing as long as you can.
