Celebrating Dorner is pretty wack especially considering how hard he appealed and you know, killing the daughter of his lawyer and her fiance (not cops). The cops he did kill was during shootouts and not part of some targeted, vigilante-esque move. He’s also still, you know, a cop? And oooo wow he filed some paperwork after watching someone get kicked in the face what a hero

0 tears shed for the officers he killed and burning down the cottage he was in was messed up but ACAB means ALL COPS

Conversely, the spaces she praises do have a lot of (misguided) hope running through them

It’s… interesting to me whenever ‘leftists’ discuss things, typically media, and essentially say “X is good as long as you overlook Y” and that Y thing is not something I’m willing to just overlook

Not at all, it becomes class reductionism if you think it will fix most/all situations for racism, bigotry etc, or if you think direct approaches to combating racism etc “don’t matter” in the short term
