people are saying such shitty things about me. ill probably delete this, but can some of my comrades just give me a pep talk if your up to in. I know logically I love this place and this is a bad day, but I cant stop crying, i do so much work going out, doing mutual aid, supporting union drives, working with the dsa and psl ect and it doesn’t fucking matter because as soon as I vent about the class of people who are giving me a hard time IM somehow stopping racial solidarity from happening. it hurts so bad and makes everything feel so pointless. i feel so disposable. im not gonna debate anyone i just want to chat with nice comrades who care. im actually crying hard over internet shit maybe its my sign to leave.

Everytime I see you in a thread it makes me happy. I always value your perspective. Having uncompromising black voices is something I view as essential to this community. One day whiteness, capitalism, patriarchy, will die. And we will be all we were ever meant to be, comrades.

You’re so much of a voice of reason and kindness that “people saying shitty things about you” is hard for me to compute. But also I have a very limited perspective and I’m not going to pretend I understand other people’s personal realities.
As you well know from IRL organizing, every last person has their moments where they waver, their moments of doubt or self-doubt, their moments where they need to be checked in on. Everybody needs a social/emotional check-in now and then, no exceptions, especially not under capitalism.
Our Hexbear constellation wouldn’t be the same without the star that is you. Also, racism is a mind virus that aggressively infects white people, assisted by the mechanism of privilege; any white person who is not anti-racist can be reliably assumed to be racist or racist-lite; you are never wrong to point something like this out. I think (hope?) any haters that post on this site are a slim minority.
Hey Othello, I just wanna say that I appreciate your posts, I’ve never seen you have a bad take and you are absolutely, 100% right in this matter. Some people here are uncomfortably unaware of how predominantly white this site is.
