Cellebrite devices are, as far as I can see it, basically able to turn any phone into a transparent window into your entire life for the cops. Are there any devices that are secure from this? Is even GrapheneOS secure from this? Demonstration of how scary easy this is to use, even the pigs could figure it out. Reminder to never ever take your phone or any device near a protest

It looks like in order for this to work, they need a wired connection. If you have an android phone and for some reason can’t leave it at home when you protest, knock out the data pins on your usb power port so that you can still charge and keep that shit on airplane mode with the wifi OFF. The best option is still to not have a phone at a protest.

oh yeah a (real) burner and memorized numbers is 100% the way to go but most people don’t invest the time or energy to do that

Bit idea: Use an old Nokia with enough space inside to dedicate a series of button cell batteries to wire to the data pins and see if it can fry their electronics. Probably not enough voltage to really do anything though

😎 I wish I was smart enough to be a tech youtuber.

Leftist tech youtubers would be a super good channel though, itd be an interesting way to outreach to STEM people

An electrolytic capacitor will do it. The bigger, the better.
