Biden is now kissing the ass of Trump and crying about his ear booboo. Basically spitting in the face of every marginalised group that will suffer under Trump.
If the Dems aren’t going to take serious measures to protect us, why should we vote for them?
Why should we vote for people who are going to feed us to the wolves?
Biden on July 14th: Trump is an existential threat to our democracy and we must stop him at the polls.

I think this is a possibility to peel away those who really did believe in Liberal Democracy.

We have to be careful they don’t become hopeless instead. I’ve seen a lot of liberals default to the “Well there’s nothing we can do, we can’t beat the ruling class.” when they’re forced to face the fact that the US isn’t a democracy.
We have to give people courage and show them the options they can take to fight back. Remind them of how it was done in the past, and how even though our rulers are powerful, their power is unsustainable and the empire is crumbling and becoming incompetent.
In wrestling, just because your favorite guy is written to lose to his rival doesn’t mean you start discussing the behind the scenes machinations and the wrestlers’ “lives.” Their lives are there in front of your eyes. You must cheer for them, or boo for them, but you cannot break kayfabe.
