Goodbye Miami
A small consolation of all this is knowing that Florida will quite literally be wiped off the map
The fact that there’s new construction still happening in Miami is fucking wild to me. Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic
Edit: I want to change that actually. It’s rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic while there’s still space on the life boats. It’s not like that construction labor and materials aren’t useful. We need to be building things. They just need to be in places that aren’t Miami.
The craziest thing were going to run into soon is scientists have been underestimating and modifying their assumptions for models for decades to avoid being accused of overstating the problem for personal gain or being sensationalist.
So every single estimation you’ve seen, that every dipshit chud in the country has called an overreaction, is actually a conservative estimate of what’s going to happen.
When some of these negative feedback loops start happening I’m probablly going to jail for my reaction to these assholes claiming there was no possible way to see any of this coming.
