So I have an iPhone SE (first edition) that’s kind of old, needs some repairs, I cant get software updates, and, more importantly, hexbear doesn’t work on it anymore. So I was thinking about a replacement and wondering what kinds of phones are similar. What I like about my current phone is the smaller form factor, which just feels more ergonomic to me. I wouldn’t mind going a little bigger, but I really want a phone that’s comfortable to use in one hand and keep in my pocket. I pretty much exclusively use my phone to browse the internet and read pdfs, so it doesn’t need to be high-end (I think? Having a fast processor wouldn’t make a difference for that, right?), I also don’t care about the camera and I take a charger with me most places so the battery life isn’t as important, but an oled screen would be nice. Other pluses would be a clean design and being able to last a couple years (my last phone before my current one was an iPhone 5, to give you an idea of how much I like change).

Basically I wan’t something that’s comfortable to hold in my hand and read posts on. Any suggestions?

Edit: Forgot, but a headphone jack is something I’d really like

There’s a modern (within 2-3 years) iphone SE that stays small

I think that or the iphone mini might be my best option, but I was hoping there was something closer to my beloved se/iphone 5 available.

That one looks interesting. Do you know how long they’re expected to last?

iOS: iphone 12 or 13 mini

Android: pixel 5 or possibly one of the more recent asus zenfones like another person suggested

Just a little too big for my tastes.

I have a unihertz jelly 2 and I love it. It keeps me from arguing on the internet with weirdos.

What about reading weirdos on the internet argue with each other? Also, I wasn’t expecting a phone quite that small, but now I kinda want one, if just as a toy.
