Vaccinations among high risk groups seem to have prevented it from spreading too much, but there was a recent cluster in Chicago, and it is still showing up in wastewater samples, so there might be more outbreaks in the future.

Yeah, crazy right?

Some of the initial reports made it sound incredibly contagious on surfaces, and I’m glad that hasn’t turned out to be the case. But I hope they are stocking up or have a way to quickly make vaccines if that changes for the worse.

Yeah biobot is monitoring for it, but apparently it’s much less prevalent in wastewater than covid. So, not quite as useful.
