Tiktok is very pro-Palestine indeed. Compare that to the fascist shithole that reddit is right now (or always has been), and I’d say the kids are alright.

It’s not the algorithm, teens are just pro-Palestine

Most likely, yes. There’s a confluence of NatSec ghoul interests and monopoly tech interests behind floating a TikTok ban. The ghouls want to limit pro-Palesinian content (which TikTok seems to support simply via a less biased algorithm) and tech monopolies that want to retake a position in what is basically Vine with a better algorithm and dance and thirst trap and comedy trends.

I agree. It is not in any way a main reason. But it is a data point about how the west does not like a social media app that is not within their complete control.
