Alien and Aliens, and Terminator and Terminator 2 always felt like they had a similar relationship to their sequels in a way. The first of the two feels more like a horror/thriller movie, while the sequel is essentially an action movie.

Man, Ridley Scott and James Cameron are both so GOATed it’s impossible for me to choose.

However, I have way more fun with the second, because Cameron is Mr. Movies.
