Communism is when you don’t trick your enemies into dumping their wealth into industrializing your country rapidly in a way that is ultimately destabilizing for them.
I’m no uncritical Dengist, but damn if they don’t at least appear to have a chance to resolve their internal contradictions.

If Xi woke up tommorrow and banned MacDonalds “for ideological reasons” , they would be replaced with stuff that buy the same amount of meat overall

Have heard of “no country was ever socialist cause workers didnt own the means of production directly” before but “no country was ever socialist and no party was ever revolutionary cause they werent anti large meat buyers is a new one”
