I generally like her stuff a lot. I’d probably avoid a vid like this from most other creators unless i really need some rage fuel, but when Lily talks about these things in her calm, collected way, with that soothing voice of hers, it’s much easier to confront them. I mean, there’s also a place for righteous fury, i loved how Abby took that hammer and just smashed the laptop in her last vid, girls both cis and trans have a right to get angry as hell that is way too often denied to us. But it’s downright admirable when somebody can remain so chill when she’s referencing that kind of subject matter, all this vitriolic and completely unhinged terf nonsense. I think it helps to expose how utterly pathetic and ridiculous it is when it’s presented this way.

The funniest thing about secular transphobes is that they claim to “only believe in biology”, yet base their entire argument on a mix of not really understanding that biology and making naturalist phallacies that get so esoteric and essentialist that at times they remind me of a homeopath’s believe in “water memory”.
