It’s what we professionals call the “I feel a deep need to watch media of dogs and women being beaten” syndrome, aka Dark Triad Personality Disorder.

And by “professional” she means she watches true crime dramas. As someone with an actual bachelor’s in psychology, to casually throw around a serious, complex and time-consuming diagnosis at some kids saying mean thing me no like is not only offensive, but it perpetuates harmful stereotypes about the industry.

Calling someone a psych diagnosis is the same insult as calling people the r-word or “crazy”: you are neurodivergent, therefore a bad person. The only difference is that the person insulting you has a college education.

Sure, sorry for not being more clear, it’s not that these terms have the same meaning, they don’t, it’s that they’re used towards the same purpose.

on one hand you might die miserably from 30 forms of cancer (some of them never before seen) before you get to Mars, but on the other hand there’s no age of consent on Mars so who’s to say if it’s worth it or not

Much like chapo.chat’s choice podcast (no, not Current Affairs, the other one) the consumption of a political comedy podcast means as much as the consumption of an edutainment youtube channel.

You mean the same countries that are at the back of the line when it comes to the Pfizer vaccine? LMAO, these are just the consequences of your actions.

After Greece was devastated by the IMF, they leased the Piraeus port to the Chinese and are now vetoing stuff left and right in the European Parliament. When the French president proposed laws that would stop foreign investors from buying up strategic industries, they were vetoed by Portugal which went “when the crisis hit, it was the Chinese that bailed us out, not you”. So obviously, Europe goes all wide eyed and shocked, cause the southerners are supposed to shut up and suffer at the hand of moralistic economic interventions from the northerners, they’re not supposed to scrounge up any kind of independence, or heaven forbid, any dependence outside of of Europe.

The above is just yet another case of the same thing. The West has this idea that the countries it kicks to the wayside have to come grovelling back, not to broker deal with other entities.

Seeing as CDPR only sent PC review copies and on top of that disallowed reviewers from sharing their own recordings and were bound to use CDPR sanctioned B-roll, I’m imaging that the console players, the majority of which are on PS4 and Xbox One expected that a game they paid $60 would run, you know, well.

Yeah, it’s almost like one game that markets itself as an imperialism simulator where the whole gameplay loop is shooting them darn ay-rabs for war crimes that the americans did in real life but are attributed to them in-game and the other game is an egdy cyperpunk dystopia where you survive on the street by your own wits are are like, against the system, maaan.
