touch grass, eat ass, abolish class

What’s some evidence of the narrative being unraveled or being inconsistent? I’d kinda like to read more about it

I’ve been arguing this point with a lot of friends lately and there’s this really strong sentiment that we can’t do that. Not like “that’s against the rules and it’s bad to take things from people that they earned you meany” (which I get too), what I’m talking about is some sort of actual mental block to the idea that agressive wealth redistribution is even permissible as a concept. When I suggest even very moderate things like agressive wealth taxes they clearly just haven’t even considered that as a possibility.

That means all it takes is to talk the points clearly and then it’s free real estate in their mind. I think a lot of the proletariat would be favorable to straight up taking Bezos’ assets if they realized it was within grasp.

So there’s two key milestones we’re coming up on here, that ultimately amount to the effect of “this time it’s different”:

  • Robotic dexterity meeting/exceeding the dexterity of a human arm at general tasks
  • The automation of intelligence in addition to the automation of mechanical tasks

This is really dangerous. We’ve never faced this issue, and the reason for that is for the first time in history, as these new jobs are invented, the robots are better right out of the gate before the humans even get a swing at it, while existing jobs are also taken at an unprecedented rate.

UBI is certainly not the new frontier in my opinion. Any system which allows basic human rights to be acquired through a marketplace is unethical, and just because the money is just given away for free doesn’t mean predatory pricing schemes won’t be implemented by the owner class. The only way to ensure that predatory pricing doesn’t affect the acquisition of food, housing, etc. in my opinion is some form of voucher system.

gouged out a swastika in a gas station bathroom. It’s not much but it feels good.

Careful with the word genocide. This is obviously an ethical shitheap, but “genocide” is a well defined and serious crime that is reserved for a situation with human victims. I’m fairly sure victims or family of victims of genocide wouldn’t be thrilled with calling this a “literal genocide”.

Anyone that believes that class stratification is the only means of oppression in our (or any) society. The alternative, and what I’m posing as the “good thing”, is an intersectional approach to oppression that acknowledges that both class struggle and a conscious fight against racism/sexism/other forms of prejudice are necessary to truly topple all oppression.

For the class reductionists reading this, I sincerely hope you don’t think racism is just going to poof away into distant history the day the working class manages to establish socialism
