And imagine the hubris of said war criminals not attending, because their other war criminal buddies were not invited.

Can you elaborate on why he’s a shit stain of a human being? Genuinely asking, because other than his name being vaguely familiar to me, I’ve never heard of him before.

Fair enough on Chrono Trigger. It’s an amazing game, but it might be about 30-40 hours of 100% complete gameplay. On that note though, my other JRPG recommendation (Felvidek) is much shorter. I finished it in about 8-10 hours.

Anyway, hope you have fun.

And by the way, you CAN NOT threaten me with vinyl CDs, I already call them that :D

I mean, that’s a pretty big playlist you got there.

If you haven’t played the original Thief games (Thief 1 and 2) I highly recommend them. If you like them, Thief 3 is subpar as a game, but completes the story, so also recommended. I’m feeling like you’ll love them. They are definitely my favourite games of all time.

Definitely try out System Shock too.

Amnesia: The Bunker has been very fun horror

Outward might suit your quest for short open-world RPGs/Dungeon Crawlers. Very unique game as far as I’m concerned.

High Fleet and Crying Suns were both very decent decision-making games with really cool stories.

If you are into deck-building games, I suggest Slay The Spire and Hellcard. They scratch that dungeon-crawling itch.

I don’t know if you’ll like them, but since you want non-Western games: Dyson Sphere Program is a Chinese base-building resource-gathering management game (think Factorio, but actually pleasant). Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is a Slovakian city-building game, where you design and built a communist city-state nestled between the borders of the Soviet block and the Western block. It’s actually the best city-builder I’ve ever played (and it’s one of my favourite genres). Unfortunately, it has a very steep learning curve, and you’ll probably need to dedicate time on some let’s plays on youtube to get your bearings.

I’ve recently finished Felvidek, which is a Slovak JRPG with minor eldritch horror elements, kick-ass music and pretty good writing. I think you’ll like it. I certainly loved it.

If you haven’t played Chronotrigger before, then prioritize it.

Currently I’m playing Cryptmaster. It’s amazing. Highly recommended.

Yeah, sorry, I wasn’t clear. I was talking about hypersonic missiles in response to the thread above.

Same reason they aren’t effective against jet aircraft. The bullets don’t have enough momentum to keep going straight in their trajectory, hit the fuselage, penetrate and do damage inside. Instead, as soon as they are caught in the missile’s flow field, they are swept along with it.

The only way CIWs can be effective is if you shoot them from particular angles (i.e. facing the front of the missile primarily), from a close distance (meaning the missile might still pose a danger even if destroyed/damaged), and if you use a lot of them simultaneously to create a wall of bullets where some will hopefully damage the missile in a critical way, as the missile’s path passes through them.

Otherwise, you need to hope that whatever is coming at your CIW, is going to slow down and fly low and straight before impact, so the bullets can actually have a chance of penetrating its flow field. But that’s not something that hypersonic missiles do. Instead they use their last stage to get even faster, and approach the target vertically from high above.

Well, you know, the Wehrmacht did nothing wrong! They didn’t know! They were clean!

Or at least there was a reason we’ve been hearing this stuff all these decades.

The American project of restoring Germany’s military and industrial might that can start world wars, as a tool in their pocket has been completed.

You see filthy tankies?!

On the left you have ugly child-less single trans lesbian women who have been enslaved by the communist elite, forced to wear the same authoritarian uniform, and chained to desks to further the knowledge of mankind.

On the right, the glory of freedom is presented. The beautiful woman has democratically and freely chosen to contribute to the GDP while doing her freedom-loving patriotic duty of birthing and raising the future soldiers that will control our colonial conquests.

(/s obviously)

The only reason they are doing a referendum is because otherwise Russia won’t accept negotiating. If Zelensky’s government negotiates peace with Russia, then the next Ukrainian government can reject the treaty on the grounds that Zelensky was not elected in office at the time.

Besides legitimazing himself, Zelensky is also trying to shift the blame around. With a referendum, it’s not him that gave up Ukrainian territory to Russia, it’s everyone.

I wouldn’t expect much consideration to go into how this referendum is going to be made, as its results won’t really change anything. The point is just to declare that a referendum was made.
