Lol, they don’t even know they’re propagandized and refuse to consider its a possibility.

Everyone else is brainwashed, particularly the Tankies because they always try to get them to read books and articles that disagree with their viewpoint, so they don’t bother to read them. Why bother to read when you can be condescending instead?

The most empowered I’ve ever felt in terms of transportation is riding a bike.

As a kid it provided an unprecedented freedom to travel to see friends while also serving as another form of play. As an adult, it freed me from the stresses of traffic and made my commute actually enjoyable while also providing exercise. Where my routes and progress are very restrained with a car, bikes are free to take more paths, more shortcuts, and usually don’t require stops unless you are riding along with traffic…which is the worst type of biking.

As a teenager, all I wanted was the ability to drive, after 20 years of driving, all I want now is to not have to drive. Having no other choice but to drive makes me feel like a slave to my car, very much like having to spend the majority of my life working towards things I don’t care about for people I’d rather not work for.

If you don’t enjoy biking, may I suggest a different type of bike? Hybrid bikes (most “normal” bikes) are the worst experience in all circumstances. If you are commuting, try an upright bike/cruiser style with an internal gear hub. There are lots of cheap/free old steel-frame bikes that work well with just a little fixing up and minimal maintenance. If you want to ride on trails, get a purpose-built mountain bike. Seriously, just try something else if you don’t enjoy riding. Chances are, there is something out there that will fit you.

A broken clock is right twice a day or whatever. They’re a racist POS and shouldn’t be celebrated, but they’re right and their shitty politics wasn’t the point of the others comments and shouldn’t be used to brush them aside. They were responses to your position.

In your hypothetical situation where you feel the need for speed and the sole right to the road, have you considered the danger this poses to others? Not only other drivers, but pedestrians and bicyclists too. Have you been in an incident where you’ve almost been run over while using an overabundance of caution just to cross what is normally a very busy crosswalk? It’s happened to me every year and three of them have been extremely close not because I just haphazardly step out into traffick, but because the drivers were distracted, going to fast, tailgating each other, or just didn’t give a fuck because they are driving the biggest thing on the road.

Annoying attitude of the poster going the speed limit aside, arguing FOR the right to speed and for others to get out of the way is fundamentally a selfish position and a practice that promotes dangerous behavior on the road. If it’s an emergency, call an ambulance. You can’t afford to die more than you can’t afford to pay ridiculous healthcare costs and that doesn’t give you the right to put others in danger.

That selfish thought process, that cars own the road and should be able to do whatever they want, is why people would call you car-brained. If I had my way, the roads would be engineered so you couldn’t go above 25 unless on an arterial road or a highway.

But it moves with you, so you can go to the hospital and say, “our people voted unanimously for free healthcare, even in foreign countries. Please fix my broken arm.”

As someone who hates running and is currently giving unhelpful advice, swim or bike.

…i need a candidate who will protect my body autonomy…

Who’s term did Roe V Wade get overturned during again? Which party had multiple chances to codify it when they had super majorities and a favorable SCOTUS? Who ceded SCOTUS seat appointments to Donald Trump that would lead to this situation?

I’m just done with these braindead shots and their virtue signaling.

What if you bought ads for both campaigns and had them link to Hexbear’s PPB through a tiny URL? Now that would be interesting news!

They’re just liberals who came out of the political closet?

Nah, you just gave up because you couldn’t keep up. You’ll be waiting a long time to see anyone here change, most of them started out as liberals before realizing what a fucking farce liberalism and capitalism are.

Who knows, maybe someday you can enjoy circlejerking with the comrades too? Ain’t nothing in this world more fulfilling than COMMUNity. It may help jumpstart your journey if you risk reading a book from someone outside of your existing system of beliefs. At least that way, you’ll be better informed to counter the power of our jerking. Start with Parenti.
