Terrence Howard. Idk why exactly, but I vaguely remember it started with Crash. A part of it is he just sounds so whiney in the way he acts on screen. I don’t have a problem with him personally, but I just cannot stand his acting. Glad he left Iron Man after the first movie.
Another one for me is Lena Headey (Cersei from GoT). I think she was good as Cersei, but it’s not a positive feeling when I come across her outside of GoT. I would like to see here playing a happy character, and maybe that exists but I haven’t seen it yet.
I guess I’m lucky a lot of them are not served up to me by YT. It’s really easy to buy-in when someone is arguing/reinforcing your POV or sentiment on a subject though. I remember years ago I was really enjoying a channel that was shitting on Destiny 1 or 2 when it was having most of its problems (as a player it was cathartic in a way). But then it just went on and on and on for months. Looking back it’s easy to see now that the guy found his formula and was keeping with it because viewers love being outraged. You see the same in politics, and it feels like it’s everywhere now.
Another format I’ve see before but haven’t given much thought to is the 2 dudes standing in front of the camera giving commentary on something. I got click-baited into one today, and this is actually how I learned about the Starfield pronoun screaming guy, and I agreed with most of what they were saying, but then one of them starting dunking on the guy because he “collected dolls” and was therefor a man-child. I mean I agree the screaming guy is a total fucking idiot, but they immediately lost all credibility with such a dumb, aged, and untrue stereotype. It just made me realize that even someone you agree with can turn out to be an idiot in their own right.
Yeah that YT channel is fucking trash lmao. Last I looked his chosen formula was to put “woke” in pretty much every title to get the clicks from his shit audience.

Not arguing against the reality that something like this can/does exist, but I question the authenticity of the post.
I can still feel the pain when it’s 2 AM and you meant to Ctrl + Shift + T and you’re muscle memory leaks in and hits you with the Ctrl + Shift + W.
FYI there’s a confirm close option that will mitigate this terrible scenario, for anyone that’s been there before.
One thing I’ve noticed is that I’ll take a long break from a game I enjoy and later I want to go back to it and pick up where I left off, but I know I’ll have to re-learn it all over again before I can start having fun. I don’t want to have to expend the mental energy learning it again when I just want to have fun, so I instead end up watching YouTube or tv shows and not really enjoying my free time.
Now, whenever I start a new game I make a folder where I keep any spreadsheets or information I collect while playing, and most importantly keep extensive notes, including keybinds and UI to refresh my memory. This saves me from a lot of those squinty eye moments saying “ooohh how tf do I do that again…” and having to research something online.
