What are the takes on the Evo/Arce split in Bolivia at the moment?
I ask because Iâve not kept up with it and encountered a very different take that seems worth investigation?

Evo Morales is just acting stupid. I used to have a lot of respect for the guy until he started calling Arce a neoliberal (lol) and actively committing blockades so he could fuck the economy.
Heâs a detriment to the left at this point.
Arce was Evoâs minister, and he has been a Marxist since he was a child. Unlike Arce, Evo Morales has no knowledge of socialist economics. He has been acting very narcissistically.
What happened was that Evoâs faction disavowed him because he wanted to run for another term. According to Evo, if he canât run, he will tear everything down.
Arce has been a student of scientific socialism and the great Bolivian socialist Marcelo Quiroga Santa Cruz. He has made his Marxist aspirations known and has always commemorated Marx yearly: https://x.com/luchoxbolivia/status/1787207660154028151?s=46 The Bolivian people already didnât want Evo to run for another term, but the Supreme Court circumvented it so he could, which then gave an excuse to the fascist right to commit a coup: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Bolivian_constitutional_referendum
Arce has proposed a referendum to decide if former presidents can run for another term, which Evo has called a coup (lol).
Heâs, unfortunately, only a tool for the right at this point.
